Action “Kohle-Ofen, brennbar” by Timm Ulrichs and discussion round on the RuhrKunstMuseen’s cross-city art & coal exhibition on the topic: Art instead of coal?

In discussion: Wolfgang Heit (Chairman of the Brost Foundation), Edwin Jacobs (Director of Dortmunder U/Speaker of RuhrKunstMuseen), Stefanie Reichart (Head of Culture, Ruhr Tourismus), Ferdinand Ullrich (Curator), Timm Ulrichs (Artist) and Walter Smerling (Director MKM).
For the finissage, the MKM will also allow Timm Ulrichs’ “Kohle-Ofen, brennbar”, his contribution to the exhibition Homage to Jannis Kounellis, to literally go up in flames and the audience to experience at first hand the transformation of the material “coal” into art.
