For one day, its paintings and sculptures enter into an exciting dialog with tones and sounds. Join our musicians and guest ensembles on a journey through the inspiring exhibition rooms. You can first follow the soundtracks of soloists from the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra and then approach imaginary landscapes with the young Eternum Saxophone Quartet: Guillermo Lago charmingly described the cities of his life (Ciudades), György Ligeti explored musical structures with wit and thought (Six Bagatelles), Alexander Glasunov looked at Romanticism with a transfiguring gaze in his saxophone quartet. Konstantia Gourzi and Helena Cánovas Parés perform exciting new works in this concert. Finally, the original brass formation Munich Tetra Brass meets the artistic work of Anselm Kiefer to confront it with baroque(Salomone Rossi) and contemporary(Arvo Pärt, Alex Vaughan, Sofia Gubaidulina, Peter Ablinger) psalm settings. Luis F. Laya is composing a new work for this purpose.
