Sunday Tour
Every Sunday at 3 p.m. there is an overview tour of the museum with insights into the collection and the current temporary exhibition. We look forward to your participation in the Sunday tours. As it is not necessary to book in advance, we recommend that you arrive early.
KUMI – Art Wednesday
Every Wednesday at 3 p.m., we cordially invite you to a guided tour of the current temporary exhibition. To secure your place, we recommend that you purchase a ticket for KUMI.
Info: The public guided tours on Wednesdays and Sundays are offered free of charge by the MKM; all you have to pay is the entrance fee. These tours are aimed at individuals. If you would like to visit the museum as a group, we recommend that you book an individual guided tour on your desired date and subject.
Themed tours on request
Our themed tours offer an insight into specific focal points of the Ströher Collection. Information is available here.
Private guided tours
You are welcome to book individual guided tours of the exhibition rooms on your preferred date within the museum’s regular opening hours. By prior arrangement, you can determine your desired focus (entire house | collection | temporary exhibition | architecture). The group size is limited to max. 20 participants.

Guided tours for schools
The MKM offers different tour formats for schools depending on the class level.
Guided tours for school classes can be booked during regular opening hours.
Workshops for schools
The workshops for schools are currently being revised.

Guided tour: € 35 / hour
Guided tour with practical design exercise / workshop: € 50 / 90 minutes
Admission: € 2 p.p. / pupils aged 6 and over and accompanying persons
Audio guide
A comprehensive and free audio guide to our collection is available within the exhibition space, which can be used either via QR code on your own smartphone or by renting a device (€3.00 incl. headphones).

Dieter Krieg – Painters, thieves and rabble
March 26 to August 24, 2025 | The MKM Museum Küppersmühle für Moderne Kunst in Duisburg is presenting a major exhibition entitled “Painters, Thieves and Riff-raff” with around 70 paintings by the important German artist Dieter Krieg (1937-2005).

Parking
You can park for 3 hours free of charge in the car park opposite the MKM if you have your ticket validated at the MKM. After that, each additional hour costs € 3.50.
