MKM Museum Küppersmühle for Modern Art

The MKM is showing the joint exhibition “Strömung” by the two Viennese artists Erwin Bohatsch and Manfred Wakolbinger, with around 70 recent paintings, sculptures and photographic works. Following Hubert Schmalix, Siegfried Anzinger and Heinz Cibulka, the MKM is once again presenting positions from the Austrian art scene, which will remain a constant in the exhibition program in the future.

“Strömung” is the first joint exhibition by Erwin Bohatsch and Manfred Wakolbinger. The show provides an insight into the current work of the artists, whose work allows for new associations through juxtaposition. The contrasting approaches and concepts create a harmonious tension in the confrontation of the works, a “current” that takes over and redefines the space.
