For all those who would like to use the time between the years for a visit to the museum and a little break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays, the Küppersmühle Museum is also open on 25. and December 26, 2017 and New Year’s Day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The MKM will only be closed on December 24 and 31, 2017. In addition to the permanent collection with a list of artists from Anselm Kiefer to Gerhard Richter, Bernd Koberling’s retrospective invites visitors to explore around 80 paintings from all creative phases. Nature and landscape are Koberling’s major themes, to which he devotes himself time and again.
To mark the current exhibition, the MKM has also expanded its free guided tours. Until the end of the exhibition (28.01.2018), our art educators will be offering a comprehensive insight into the painter’s diverse work every Wednesday and Friday at 5 pm and every Saturday at 3 pm. The offer is also valid between Christmas and New Year, with the exception of Saturday, 30.12.2017. Participation in the guided tours is included in the admission price.
