SHOW YOUR COLORS! The Haniel Collection at the Museum Küppersmühle | Starting October 8, 2026

For one year, the MKM is presenting the renowned Haniel Collection as a special exhibition in the Oberlichtsaal on the 3rd floor. Significant works of postwar art engage in a fascinating dialogue with the Ströher Collection, opening up new perspectives on an era that, more than almost any other, stands for the freedom of art.

JAUME PLENSA – Invisible | from June 26, 2026

June 26 to November 1, 2026 – The Museum Küppersmühle in Duisburg is presenting the most comprehensive solo exhibition to date of the renowned Spanish sculptor Jaume Plensa. This is the first time in a decade that a German museum has dedicated such a show to him.

Dieter Krieg – Painters, thieves and rabble

March 26 to August 24, 2025 | The MKM Museum Küppersmühle für Moderne Kunst in Duisburg is presenting a major exhibition entitled “Painters, Thieves and Riff-raff” with around 70 paintings by the important German artist Dieter Krieg (1937-2005).

Parking

You can park for 3 hours free of charge in the car park opposite the MKM if you have your ticket validated at the MKM. After that, each additional hour costs € 3.50.
